Knockhatch Adventure Park is open to everyone, and we want to let as many people as possible discover just how exciting a day out at our Park can be.

To that end, we have a number of accessibility options in place so that our disabled visitors can get just as much out of their day as everyone else. From the Owl Sanctuary, the wide variety of farm animals, our shows and the fun of some of our attractions, Knockhatch Adventure Park is an experience that’s truly one of a kind - and we want everyone to enjoy it.

Rides, Attractions and Queueing

  • Knockhatch Adventure Park is a member of the British Association of Leisure, Piers and Parks (BALPPA) and we will do all that is possible to ensure a safe and pleasurable visit. However, certain rides and attractions at Knockhatch Adventure Park can be physically demanding. Knockhatch Adventure Park therefore reserves the right to refuse admission to certain rides should we feel there is a danger to a particular individual for whatever reason. BALPPA has been advised by the Health and Safety Executive that refusal on the grounds of safety does not constitute discrimination. Knockhatch Adventure Park hopes this is understood and that guests can accept the decision made in the interest of the safety of all.
  • Wherever possible we try to assist visitors with disabilities in accessing our rides and attractions.
  • Not all rides are suitable for all guests and each ride had strict operating requirements. These are set in accordance with external Ride Inspectors’ requirements and exceptions will not be made. Our staff have to follow all rules and restrictions for health and safety reasons therefore please do not ask staff to break these rules; they are there for your safety and for the safety of others.
  • We do not have a system in place that allows anyone to jump any queues.
